Samuel Lederman, MD

Dr Samuel Lederman grew up in South Florida and started practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Palm Beach County in 1991. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Medical School in 1987, and completed his residency training at the University of Colorado.

Dr Lederman is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an active member of the Florida Medical Association, the Palm Beach County Medical Society, and is the past president of the Palm Beach County Obstetrics and Gynecology Society. He is also involved in the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and has lectured nationally and internationally on cosmetic laser procedures for the treatment of hirsutism, spider veins and wrinkles. He is the founding member of Palm Beach Obstetrics & Gynecology, a private practice dedicated to bringing the highest standards of care to women in this area.

Dr Lederman has a special interest in problems leading to urinary incontinence in women, and was the first gynecologist in the county to offer urodynamic testing in his office. He is also an advanced laparoscopic gynecologic surgeon trained using the DaVinci Robot at JFK Hospital. He is one of the few South Florida gynecologists specially trained to perform Robotic surgery.

Dr. Lederman also serves as a consultant for pharmaceutical companies developing new products in many areas of medicine. He is the Medical Director of Altus Research, and for the past 12 years has served as principal investigator in clinical trials in the areas of obesity treatment, osteoporosis, hormone replacement, family planning, urinary incontinence, and many more.
